Ireland experienced it’s “Golden Age” from the arrival of St. Patrick in the 5th Century, up to and after the Viking invasion of the 10th Century. Before St. Patrick’s arrival, Ireland was a pagan country. However, it was this period of history that established Ireland as the land of saints and scholars.
